I came from a finance background, deep in financial services for many years till I finally uncovered my passion in real estate. Thereafter I joined a developer firm for a few years before I decided to take a step further in this industry.
I strongly believe that properties can be both an investment and an asset. While property market is ever changing, I am here to value add with my interpretation of the industry, coupled with financial knowledge and housing experience.

We say, if 1 property agent is not able to give you sufficient information or to fulfil your 101 questions about the market, then make it 2 agents. (I'm sure you like to cross check your answers, just like us right?)

I bought an old resale flat a few years ago with my husband after our marriage. What felt like a simple transaction, would turn out to be costly and avoidable, when we sold it years later. The buyer’s remorse we felt was made worse, thinking that the supposed professional, the property agent, who assisted us with the purchase could have given us better advice. But unfortunately, it felt like he was only interested in closing the deal.
At the time of our purchase, we did not understand the implications of the property’s age and how it will affect the resale value. Whilst there is much information available online, it was hard for us to accurately apply the knowledge to our specific situation and needs. And we had no one to advise us on property wealth planning.
So, by the time we sold our flat, we realised that we made a loss. Many better decisions could have been made if we had the right information, and someone with insights to assist us.
This experience made me decide to learn more about real estate and eventually obtained my licence, where I aim to be that better agent I wish I had met years ago.
As an educator, I understand that property matters can be complex, there is a steep learning curve as we try to understand the complicated procedures and timelines, and the risks associated with every step we take. Therefore, it is crucial for us to make informed decisions for ourselves, and I hope to help my clients remove the stress of finding that special home by empowering them with the correct tools and knowledge needed to manoeuvre through this market.
